Ok this is getting embarrassing because people keep asking to add me and then I have to explain that I actually have nothing to say and regularly fail to document much of anything on here!
Steve is starting some sort of other stockbroking type role different to what he's been doing which means he'll get paid 50% more which is really pretty awesome since he won't actually get his majoy pay review an bonus until February. I'm dead proud of him though and I said it doesn't matter about the money as long as he's happy in what he's doing so fingers crossed it all goes well.
We went for an awesome lunch on Saturday when we were home visiting my Mum and Dad and Steve saw this girl he went to school with who had a tiny baby- we were saying it's so weird to think what everyone is doing now. It's good that I keep in touch with the people who are important to me but it makes you think how much you've changed since school- me and Steve have been together almost 7 years now for gods sake- lol. It's just so crazy how everyone is all grown up and responsible!
Anyway I may have some news in the pipeline- nothing massively exciting but I will try and be better and post more so any developments will be documented! |

The Vivienne Westwood boots of dreams are mine= LOVE
I took a risk by buying a size smaller but they were a good buy and ridiculously rare and they fit- W00t!
It's me and Steves 6 year anniversary on Saturday and he's taking me to Malmaison for dinner- very nice :) Really looking forward to going out on the town. Yay!
Its such a sunny day- time to go for some brewskis I think when my gorgeous man gets home :D

Ah well, c'est la vie. it's ok really- it would have been a pain to get there every day. Plus at the interview she told me I'd done well and it was a good interview. I was one of 15 narrowed down from 200 for intervew and I did do alright on the day so it's still an achievement of sorts in such a competetitive industry. The only thing is that they only let the successful applicant know hence I've been left in limbo and finally phoned up to be told that. I think that's quite ruse but anyway...
Unfortunately family events have out things in perspective and made me realise that there are worse things in life. Now im worrying about my family instead.

Oh dear lord... I have an interview for a job that I really want!
After resigning myself to doing jobs I know aren't for me it seems that I have this wonderful chance to make a start in an industry that I'd really love. Thing is this isn't in my hands which means a whole lot of pressure to perform in the interview.
I'll be gutted if I don;t get it ad I'm worried I'm setting myself up for a fall. I feel so positive and yet it's all a bit too good to be true at the moment.
I have 8 days till my interview so please send me some encouragement!

We booked our hotel in Madrid tonight- W00T!
This is such a pointless post but I am so so excited! I don't even know why cause me and Steve have been on countless holidays together- London, Dublin multiple times, Belfast Paris, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Thailand..we were actually gonna go back to Paris as we went there when we were young-er in the first flutters of romance hehe but I love going places I've never been and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my man :)

Didn't pay lastminute.com prices though, even though we've used them before and they are really good, we found it cheaper through another site because we wanted to pay at the hotel rather than upfront so we just had to pay a £25 deposit
Sorry if I seem like im boasting, Im not, its really not even a big deal- just a city break but definately something i'm looking forward to. Anyway it's my journal so I'll say what I like LOL

Yeah so FINALLY updating again- how rubbish am I??? It's a new year and I can tell 2008 is gonna be a good one. Me and Steve are off to Madrid on the 26th for an early Valentines day break :) I'm so looking forward to it- I love Spain and I'm crazy in love with my gorgeous man so it's a winning combination. It's gonna be our 6 year anniversary in April so i think this year will be packed full of good times.
If anyone can suggest any good places to stay etc in Madrid do let me know. Budget is pretty flexible thanks to my resident stockbroker- lol- but obviously no point paying through the roof for no reason. I'm more excited about the Tapas to be honest!

That's right kids...I officially suck at posting entries in my journal. i am everywhere on the communities but apart from that apparently have nothing to say. Im just at my parents house tonight waiting for Steve to come home from Germany (his mate's stag weekend). Ive missed him so much- I don't think we have been apart for more than a night in soooo long. Is that really sad? I totally can't sleep without him *sniff*. Our rat Maude is ill. I've tried her on Baytrill but her tummy has swollen up and she seems very puffed up and unhappy. Im hoping its something fixable as she's such a little sweetheart I would be gutted to lose her. Plus her sister Millie would be lonely :(
Well if you expected interesting entries, I'm sorry to disappoint but my life is so dull!

I never post on here it's really bad. Well not much has been happening to be honest. Its been lovely weather this week and i'm feeling really summery. Its a strange time as Steve is almost finished uni and to be honest I cant wait till we are both on the same page in the respect. I cant believe its been a year since I took my final exams- pretty crazy. Now if I could just figure out what i want to do with my life that would be just awesome. The selling is going well and I can feel my entrepeneureal spirit kicking in. I was totally thinking about Thailand today and am not positively itching to do some more travelling with Steve. Itll be out 5 year anniversay in about 2 weeks- its really hard to believe and if anything we are happier than ever as we've just grown up together and are in this whole other happy place. Hmm well i'll stop my ramblings and go play with my rats x |

So i've been on lj for ages but thus far have only used it to buy and sell stuff so i figured i'd may as well post an entry. Me and steve got our london Strike Anywhere tickets a few weeks ago and we've recently booked our flights and hotel. got an amazing deal with 4 star hotel included so it should be a welcome break away and a nice mini holiday after the amazing one we had in Sri lanka. good times! just trying to save some money and getting excited about the london gig. think we'll get killed in the pit but who gives a fuck- it's the price you pay for being a lover of flithy punk rock... |
