Just for future reference, booking.com is a fantastic website that has hotels all over the world, you can search for your destination, get a guarenteed booking, and none of the hotels require a deposit, you simply pay at the hotel. :)

Cool- thanks so much :) We booked through bookassist.com and they seemed to have good rates but I will check out booking.com in future! I'm so excited- i think just the prospect of a break is enough to do it, plus I love Spain also and since my man has been working so hard getting him all to myself for 4 days will be lovely :D

Also we booked through easyjet who have a flight sale on just now for £10 inc taxes and charges so check that out if you have the inclination to go somewhere on the cheap.

The easyjet sale looks great, but only runs up to March 31st. Me and Shep managed to get Gold Circle tickets to see Iron Maiden in Prague in the summer, so we`ll be looking for cheap flights then. We`ve already booked our hotel, right on Wenceslas Square, a gorgeous little guesthouse-y place, but dead posh!! Prague is rediculously cheap though, so we could well afford it!!

Wow that sounds amazing! I would love to visit Prague- definately have to put that on the list for another time. I love travelling to see gigs. The furthest I've gone to is London from Scotland but so worth it to see Strike Anywhere (my fave band). I always think of going to Europe to see some gigs.

These cheap airlines do great sales and offers pretty much all the time throughout the year though. We went to Belfast with Ryanair for 4p- its crazy! Im sure you'll get a great deal and enjoy your spending money all the more :)

Yes, we`ve never been to Prague, I`m really excited! We have friends in Amsterdam, and go about 3-4 times a year, but I`m looking forward to somewhere different, I know Amsterdam so well after 18 years!
We went to northern Spain in October with ryanair...it was brill. Me, Shep and our 3 kids, all inclusive, with flights for a week and it was only £840!!! So there are certainly bargains to be had if you look!
