Ok this is getting embarrassing because people keep asking to add me and then I have to explain that I actually have nothing to say and regularly fail to document much of anything on here!
Steve is starting some sort of other stockbroking type role different to what he's been doing which means he'll get paid 50% more which is really pretty awesome since he won't actually get his majoy pay review an bonus until February. I'm dead proud of him though and I said it doesn't matter about the money as long as he's happy in what he's doing so fingers crossed it all goes well.
We went for an awesome lunch on Saturday when we were home visiting my Mum and Dad and Steve saw this girl he went to school with who had a tiny baby- we were saying it's so weird to think what everyone is doing now. It's good that I keep in touch with the people who are important to me but it makes you think how much you've changed since school- me and Steve have been together almost 7 years now for gods sake- lol. It's just so crazy how everyone is all grown up and responsible!
Anyway I may have some news in the pipeline- nothing massively exciting but I will try and be better and post more so any developments will be documented! |

Can you let me know when you'll be paying for this?
Hey there, I'm sorry to post in your personal journal but I notice you left me negative feedback for an item I have in fact paid for, and left you positive feedback over. This was the makeup that we had a hugely drawn out transaction over with missing/ damaged post on both sides. You sent me replacement items for the items I actually paid for and they took over a month to arrive in the end. I'm really disappointed you did not see fit to rectify this after I ended up paying for the items twice and not receiving the items I originally paid for.
Hi there,
Sorry about that. As I explained at the time there were several people unhappy with the lack of contact from you. At the time when you were offline having moved, from my point of view you had promised to send money and then completely disappeared and didn't respond to any contact hence after many weeks I left rightful negative feedback. A couple of months later when you were back on LJ we managed to sort out the transaction- neither of us were at fault for the missing money/items and although I sent replacements and not the exact items you paid for that was the resolution as agreed. I'm not sure why they took so long to arrive but I did keep in contact with you and I recall you saying there was no hurry as I think i was a few days delayed in posting. I also lost out on goods as you lost out on money courtesy of royal mail so that aspect of it while unfortunate was fairly weighted to both of us I think. Under the circumstances I will of course ask the mods to remove the feedback that i had forgotten about as it is no longer applicable and the transaction sorted now. It had honestly slipped my mind and I'm sorry about that but as I say at the time it was left it was fair and also long before I regained touch with you hence this misunderstanding.
I absolutely agree that we both suffered at the hands of Royal Mail on this transaction which is why I was surprised to find negative feedback given. I didn't think to check as I assumed you'd posted the goods in the first place and wrote the transaction off as a casualty of moving. I would appreciate you following up the removal of the feedback as swiftly as I moved to rectify an unfinished transaction. Also I believe feedback pertains only to a specific transaction. Thankyou for attending to this.
I can understand your surprise however as I already explained the feedback was given previously owing to a transaction that you failed to complete at that time in my mind. Clearly we went on to resolve the issue and the feedback is no longer relevant and was forgotten about due to the long period of time in between the loss of contact and picking up the transaction once again. No-one is at fault here- it was a misunderstanding then, the feedback I left did pertain to an unresolved transaction with you that seemed negative at the time. As I said I will have the feedback removed and have already requested this- the mods will remove it asap i'm sure. Sorry again- as I said I'd quite forgotten about it as to be honest I think very few people regularly use the niceboots feedback or know where to find it- I certainly havent traded on niceboots for several months so you'll understand this oversight im sure.
Hi there, Have you managed to contact the niceboots mods about this at all: the feedback is still in place. I would really like to list some items but don't want to do so with this feedback issue. Thanks.
Hi there,
As I told you I contacted them right away to alert them that the feedback was no longer appropriate and to please remove it. If they havent done so yet you might want to email them at the address on the main page to request that someone gets to it asap. I don't think the feedback gets looked at much or updated very often so this may be the reason it's taking them a while. Sorry about that- as I say I notified them as soon as you got in touch to get it sorted but obviously it's in their hands to physically remove it. | |
